What are the common deficiencies in Sequence Listing submissions?

According to MPEP 2427, common deficiencies in Sequence Listing submissions include:
- Missing “Sequence Listing” part of the disclosure
- Missing or defective Computer Readable Form (CRF)
- Discrepancies between the “Sequence Listing” and the CRF
- Missing statement that the CRF is identical to the “Sequence Listing”
- Sequence identifiers not present in the specification or drawings
- Sequences present in the specification or drawings that are not in the CRF or listing
- Missing or defective incorporation by reference paragraph
- Missing instruction to enter the “Sequence Listing” into the application
- Missing statement of no new matter
- Missing statement of support
These deficiencies can lead to non-compliance with 37 CFR 1.821-1.825 and may require correction by the applicant.
