How should Numeric Identifiers be formatted in a “Sequence Listing”?

Numeric Identifiers in a “Sequence Listing” must be formatted according to specific guidelines. The MPEP 2424.02 provides clear instructions: “Each item of information must begin on a new line with the numeric identifier enclosed in angle brackets.“
