According to MPEP 608.05, Large Tables in patent applications should be submitted as follows:

  • Format: ASCII plain text file
  • File size limit: 300 MB
  • File name must not exceed 60 characters
  • Must be referred to in the specification

The MPEP states: “ASCII plain text files are limited to 100 MB for Sequence Listings, and 300 MB for both Large Tables and Computer Program Listing Appendices.” Additionally, “The file name must not exceed 60 characters and should reflect the content of the file.” It’s important to ensure that your Large Tables submission complies with these requirements to avoid processing delays.
