What are ‘Large Tables’ in patent applications?

‘Large Tables’ in patent applications are defined in 37 CFR 1.58(c) as:
- Any individual table that is more than 50 pages in length, or
- Multiple tables, if the total number of pages of all the tables in an application exceeds 100 pages in length.
These tables can be submitted in electronic form as ASCII plain text files via the USPTO patent electronic filing system or on read-only optical discs.
