Ex Parte Reexamination Request
The examination will ordinarily be conducted by the same patent examiner who made the decision on whether the reexamination request should be granted. See MPEP § 2236.
SNQ Criteria
However, if a petition under 37 CFR 1.515(c) is granted after an examiner's determination that found the request did not raise any SNQ, the reexamination will generally be conducted by another examiner. See MPEP § 2248.
