Sequence Listing Required During IPEA
Note:
The International Preliminary Examining Authority may require applicants to submit a sequence listing for nucleotide and amino acid sequences disclosed in the international application, along with a late filing fee.

If the International Preliminary Examining Authority finds that the international application contains disclosure of one or more nucleotide and/or amino acid sequences that, pursuant to the Administrative Instructions, are required to be included in a sequence listing, the International Preliminary Examining Authority may invite the applicant to furnish such a sequence listing complying with the standard provided for in the Administrative Instructions and pay a late furnishing fee. PCT Rule 13ter.2.

Note:
If the international application lacks required nucleotide and/or amino acid sequence disclosures, the International Preliminary Examining Authority may request a compliant listing and a late fee.
