When submitting a computer program listing appendix, the transmittal letter should include the following information:

  • A statement that the submission is a Computer Program Listing Appendix.
  • The total number of compact discs (if applicable).
  • The machine format and operating system used to create the compact disc.
  • A statement that the computer program listing appendix is submitted on compact disc in duplicate (if applicable).
  • A statement incorporating by reference the material on the compact disc into the specification.
