Even if you don’t receive a Notice of Abandonment, it doesn’t affect the status of your abandoned application. The MPEP states:
“However, in no case will mere failure to receive a notice of abandonment affect the status of an abandoned application.”
This means that your application can still be considered abandoned even if you didn’t receive the notice. It’s crucial to keep track of your application status and deadlines independently.
