What are the requirements for submitting replacement sheets for drawing corrections?

When submitting replacement sheets for drawing corrections, applicants must follow these requirements:

1. Provide a marked-up copy of the corrected drawing sheet(s)
2. Submit a clean copy of the corrected drawing sheet(s)
3. Include an explanation of the changes made

MPEP 608.02(p) states: “Any changes to an application drawing must be in compliance with § 1.84 and must be submitted on a replacement sheet of drawings which shall be an attachment to the amendment document and, in the top margin, labeled “Replacement Sheet.””

Additionally, the explanation of changes should be detailed enough to clearly identify the alterations made to the drawings.
